Sketchblog Edition 113: Do You Come From A Family Of Giants?

I'm trying to sketch more again,
just for fun.

Yes, I still have all the sketch requests I owe you kind folks from April,
but in the meantime, I'm taking it a little easy.

Enjoy these instead:

On Sunday evening at the SCAD Student Center,
a panel discussion on making films was given by four of the most amazing gentlemen on God's green earth:
Colin Levy
Nate Swinehart
Tyler Kupferer
Alex Curtis

The following two pages of sketches are my notes from said panel:

I can't help myself.
I love birds too much.
There's no way I can go without drawing at least one feathered spirit-like creature in my sketchbook.

Also, pose is inspired by a sketch I saw in the fabulous Jina Noh's sketchbook!

Here's more of Colin Levy!
A TAoCKF version:

...And a gender-bended version!

And if that's not enough awesome for you,
I'd just like to take this moment to plug one of my favorite people in the world,
Sarah "Squirrel" Desrosiers!
She is quite an amazing artist as well as a beautiful person,
and she, like I, is quite poor,
so she's opened herself to commissions!
Below is an example of a tattoo commission she did (image copyrighted to Sarah Desrosiers).
If you like that, visit her website for more artwork and more information:

That's all for tonight!
Love you all,
and goodnight!

<3,
Emily J. Sampson
